There Goes the Neighborhood

As we know the europeans had the idea that they were going to take the America. It true that there goals may have been different based on there lives in Europe but each group had the idea to come to america and make it there own. Look at it from the side of the native a relatively simple people in comparison, a people who had lived on these lands for generations. There perspective not the world was rather peaceful and respecting of nature, so the appearance of these new people was quite strange to them. Some groups took them in as gods an others welcomed them as men, though in my mind this trust would be hard to keep seeing as the lifestyle of europeans differed so much from there own. To have been a leader of a tribe would bring out an interesting line between choosing peace and protection of lives and way of life. In the end I don't think there was much of an option for the North American tribes. Though natives may have had the ability to stop europeans by killing Columbus and his crew, after Europe knew about this new land there fate was sealed. For they have a little hope to find a middle ground or terms of understanding and even less hope to fight them off. There differences were just to much for a strong alliance, europeans found value in gold and money when natives valued  life and nature, the europeans have also had a sense of entitle meant over natives based on skin color and over all complexity or lack of it. These point truly set the two groups apart from one and other in a way Natives couldn't comprehend.
